About the work
The mask is the symbol of 2020. I’ve worn so many masks now that I’ve become fascinated by them to be honest. This drawing is from a larger series of drawings made during the second national lockdown of 2020. I made one drawing a day, all exploring the same theme: all masked up, nowhere to go.
